Vodafone Advertising Next week Vodafone will be launch advertiser on Outdoor Plus’ new banner situated on Aldgate roundabout in London. Facing five lanes of traffic, the 162 square meter banner is the only banner targeting out bound traffic in the area. Over 950,000 vehicles will pass the site each month. |

JCDecaux expands Premičre with new Outdoor Plus deal JCDecaux, the UK’s leading outdoor advertising company has signed a long-term partnership with Outdoor Plus to market and sell up to 20 portrait Premičre Backlights in London. The agreement gives JCDecaux a unique holding of the super-sized portrait billboard and expands the Premičre portfolio in the capital. The Outdoor Plus Premičre 450 billboards are all on key arterial routes including: Western Avenue, Tower Bridge Road and the M4 slip road approach to Heathrow. The deal brings JCDecaux’s total holding of the 7.5m high x 5m wide billboard to 50. This is the second long-term partnership between Outdoor Plus and JCDecaux and follows a Premičre 500 marketing agreement covering 20 billboards signed in February 2007. Jonathan Lewis, Managing Director of Outdoor Plus said, "This agreement will consolidate the Premičre 450 format in the capital. This deal builds upon our existing partnership for Premičre 500s and will provide exciting new opportunities for advertisers." Double-sided Mega 6 Tower. London out of home media owner Outdoor Plus continues to grow their share of the Premium London Backlight market, with the unveiling of their first double-sided Mega 6 Tower. Viewed from the elevated section of the M3 at Sunbury Cross by over 1,900,000 vehicles a month, this new Tower is the first and last panel seen by commuters travelling into and out of London from Surrey & the South Coast. Outdoor Plus have clad the 14 Meter high advertising structure with 1,600 linear meters of untreated, eco-friendly Red Cedar*. Jonathan Lewis MD said "This iconic site continues our commitment to provide advertisers with the best sites at the best locations" * The timber is certified by the Sustained Forestry Initiative. |

Outdoor Plus partners with JCDecaux. Outdoor Plus has signed a long-term partnership with JCDecaux to market and sell 20 Mega 48s in London. The deal gives JCDecaux a unique holding of the format, with each site providing 450 square feet of back-illuminated display. The deal strengthens JCDecaux’s Premičre 500 offering and will give advertisers access to city-wide campaigns targeting upmarket, urban consumers. Outdoor Plus sites include the City of London, Kensington and Chelsea and Ealing. The Outdoor Plus Mega 48s will be marketed as Premičre 500’s. The billboards are all on key arterial routes and are an excellent fit with the existing JCDecaux portfolio. The new combined campaigns will be available from April 2007. Outdoor Plus launch first MEGA PLUS. This week sees the unveiling of our first Mega Plus, believed to be the largest permanent roadside back illuminated advertising structure in Europe. Working around the clock construction took us 10 days using 15 tonnes of steel , 7 tonnes of aluminium, 84 tonnes of concrete supports & 306 energy efficient fluorescent tubes giving a total 17,748 Watts of back illumination. Launch advertiser Sony Ericsson took full advantage of the space to demonstrate the sleek, elegant and compact design of their phone with its built in quality Walkman player. |

Halcyon Gallery showcase fine art of award winning Mitch Griffiths. Launch advertiser Halcyon Gallery showcase fine art from the young award winning artist Mitch Griffiths on our first network of 10 London Mega 6 sheets. The contemporary design, added to the key locations of our new light boxes was the perfect way to frame an example of Mitch’s pieces of art “Twentieth Century Boy” used to highlight the dates of his reality exhibition at the Halcyon Gallery in Mayfair. Opening night of the exhibition witnessed the majority of paintings Mitch had invested over 4 years work being sold to visitors to the gallery. |
